The Memoir Installations!

We did a lot of creative things with the memoirs!  Your memoir, your story,  is out in the world.

 Memoirs were affixed to North Commons coffee cups.

                      

We postered most of campus with individual memoirs and cartoon-curated memoirs.

 

We created an installation of powerful, funny and inspiring memoirs on the steps of the library.

And then we set our sights BIG -- to create one outdoor public art installation to feature every single memoir!

And there were LOTS of memoirs.

Memoirs got typed up in handwritten fonts and placed in waterproof cellophane.

Brilliant students mocked up the installation.

 Then we spent many hours building it.  It took quite awhile.

Totally worth it.  

 

People stopped and looked -- and read!  Yea!
